Details:  Mayor Nutter, along with over 830 mayors across the country, will mark the first annual Mayors Day of Recognition for National Service, an initiative he announced during his presidential address at the 81st convening of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.  The Mayors Day is being led by Mayor Nutter in partnership with the Corporation for National and Community Service, Cities of Service, the National League of Cities, and other organizations.

 

During the ceremony, Mayor Nutter will announce the winners of the first annual City of Philadelphia ~ Mayor’s Award for Distinguished National Service to an outstanding AmeriCorps member, Senior Corps member and National Service Alumni living in the City of Philadelphia.  For more information, please visit www.NationalServicePHL.com.
