WHAT:          Vice President Biden, Mayor Nutter and other VIP guests will pay tribute to America at the Celebration of Freedom Ceremony featuring music, inspiring remarks, and a reading of excerpts from the Declaration of Independence.  This year’s ceremony will recognize the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the 60th anniversary of the Brown vs. Board Supreme Court decision.

WHERE:        Independence Hall, 520 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

MEDIA ENTRANCE: 6th & Chestnut Streets, Northeast Corner

WHEN:          Friday, July 4, 2014           Event Start Time: 10:00 AM EST

                         Camera/Equipment Pre-Set: 4:45 AM – 5:15 AM EST                                              

                          Press Arrival Time: 9:00 AM EST

FINAL Media Access Time: 9:30 AM EST

RSVP: This event is POOLED FOR TV and OPEN TO CORRESPONDENTS. GENERAL MEDIA PARKING: Media are advised to park in public lots or to find street parking.

TRUCK PARKING: Satellite trucks should enter 6th Street via Market Street and park along the east side of 6th Street between Market Street and Chestnut Street.

POWER:  Power and mult boxes will be available on the press risers.
