CITY OF PHILADELPHIA TO HOST COLLEGE SIGNING DAY

WHAT:      The City of Philadelphia will host its first College Signing Day celebration to recognize 2,000 college-bound, Philadelphia high school seniors.  These graduating seniors will pledge their intentions to attend and graduate from the higher education institution of their choice.

College Signing Day is a part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher initiative, which seeks to inspire and support students across the country to pursue and complete a post-secondary degree.

WHERE:   St. Joseph’s University, Michael J. Hagan Arena, 2450 N. 54th Street

WHEN:      Friday, May 1, 2015               11:00 a.m.
