WHAT: The City of Philadelphia will host its first College Signing Day celebration to recognize 2,000 college-bound, Philadelphia high school seniors. These graduating seniors will pledge their intentions to attend and graduate from the higher education institution of their choice.
College Signing Day is a part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher initiative, which seeks to inspire and support students across the country to pursue and complete a post-secondary degree.
