MAYOR’S OFFICE RELEASES REPORT OF MAYOR’S BOX ATTENDEES: JANUARY 1, 2015 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2015

Philadelphia, May 8, 2015 – The City of Philadelphia has released the names of those who received tickets to the Mayor’s Box from January 1, 2015 through March 31, 2015.  The City’s ticket policy provides for the equitable distribution of complimentary tickets received by the City of Philadelphia.

Some report highlights are as follows:

  • 1,251 tickets were distributed between January 1, 2015 and March 31, 2015.
  • 601 (48%) tickets for events in the Mayor’s Box were distributed to children from recreation centers, nonprofits and other groups who attended Wells Fargo Center, Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field events.
  • 93% of all tickets that were available for use were distributed.
  • Since the policy’s inception on April 4, 2008, 34,669 tickets have been distributed.  18,109 (52%) tickets have been distributed to schools, non-profits, recreation centers and other groups.
