Philadelphia, July 21, 2015 – The City of Philadelphia has released the names of those who received tickets to the Mayor’s Box from April 1 through June 30, 2015. The City’s ticket policy provides for the equitable distribution of complimentary tickets received by the City of Philadelphia.
Some report highlights are as follows:
- 1,238 tickets were distributed between April 1, 2015 and June 30, 2015.
- 789 (64%) tickets for events in the Mayor’s Box were distributed to children from recreation centers, nonprofits and other groups who attended Wells Fargo Center, Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field events.
- 91% of all tickets that were available for use were distributed.
- Since the policy’s inception on April 4, 2008, 35,907 tickets have been distributed. 18,898 (53%) tickets have been distributed to schools, non-profits, recreation centers and other groups.
