MAYOR NUTTER TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL MANUFACTURING DAY BY OPENING TECHNICAL EDUCATION SCHOOL

WHAT:          Mayor Nutter and City officials will celebrate National Manufacturing Day and participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, a career and technical education school within Benjamin Franklin High School. 

 

National Manufacturing Day is a National event that connects manufacturers with youth to raise awareness about the importance of these jobs and the rewarding careers available to those who seek technical skills training and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) education.

 

WHERE:        Benjamin Franklin High School, Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Main Auditorium, 550 North Broad Street
