MAYOR’S OFFICE RELEASES REPORT OF MAYOR’S BOX ATTENDEES: JULY 1 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2015

Philadelphia, October 23, 2015 – The City of Philadelphia has released the names of those who received tickets to the Mayor’s Box from July 1 through September 30, 2015.  The City’s ticket policy provides for the equitable distribution of complimentary tickets received by the City of Philadelphia.

Some report highlights are as follows:

  • 1,155 tickets were distributed between July 1, 2015 and September 30, 2015.
  • 428 (37%) tickets for events in the Mayor’s Box were distributed to children from recreation centers, nonprofits and other groups who attended Wells Fargo Center, Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field events.
  • 84% of all tickets that were available for use were distributed.
  • Since the policy’s inception on April 4, 2008, 37,062 tickets have been distributed.  19,326 (52%) tickets have been distributed to schools, nonprofits, recreation centers and other groups.
